Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Power BI Development

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Build optimized data models, relationships, and DAX calculations
• Develop advanced visualizations and KPI-driven dashboards for business users
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls
• Manage workspace, datasets, dataflows, and report publishing

Data Migration

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects from legacy systems (SSRS, Excel, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) to Power BI
• Analyze existing reporting structures and convert them into Power BI solutions
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy during migration
• Work with stakeholders to define migration strategy and mapping rules
• Optimize migrated datasets for performance and scalability

Data Engineering & Integration

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent tools
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation
• Design and implement star/snowflake schema data models
