Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented eCommerce Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the day to day operations of our marketplace activities across platforms especially that of Amazon, including strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to maximise growth.


About the Role:


The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of our marketplace activities. This includes strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives across platforms, with a strong focus on maximising sales and profitability through Amazon and other marketplaces.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee, coordinate and manage day to day operations of all marketplaces.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy, encompassing:
    • Listing optimization & SEO: Own and manage Keyword research, product title and description optimization, high-quality product images and videos, competitive pricing strategies in order to increase product visibility and organic rankings on marketplace platforms.
    • PPC Campaigns: Manage and monitor Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.) to optimise return on ad spend (ROAS) and minimise advertising cost of sale (ACOS).
    • Product Promotions: Setup and manage product promotions in terms of discounts, coupons and deals to increase conversions, sales and revenue
    • Customer service: Proactively monitor and address customer reviews and inquiries on all marketplace platforms, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Inventory management across multiple marketplaces, including Amazon, Myntra, Quick Commerce, Etsy, and others, ensuring accuracy and consistency of product information across all platforms. Develop and implement scalable processes for efficient listing management.

  • Data analysis and reporting:
    • Regularly analyse marketplace data, sales trends, and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for growth and optimise performance.
    • Compile and deliver periodic reports that provide insights into marketplace performance, campaign effectiveness, and areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date on marketplace regulations and policies, ensuring compliance for all listings and activities.

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to assist in operations, problem solving and growth strategies.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful product content and promotional campaigns tailored for each marketplace platform.

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of demonstrably successful experience managing online marketplaces for a D2C brand.
  • Proven track record of growing sales and profitability through Amazon and other online marketplaces.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central and other relevant marketplace platforms (e.g., Tata Cliq) and their functionalities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting and utilising data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Mastery of PPC advertising platforms, particularly Amazon Ads, with a proven ability to manage and optimise campaigns for maximum return on investment.
  • Excellent SEO knowledge and experience implementing effective SEO strategies for online marketplaces.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
