Job Description

Experience: 06 months - 2 Years preferably in OTC/ FMCH /FMCG companies


Key responsibilities:


Sales and Revenue Generation:

Achieving monthly and annual sales targets for OTC products, both in primary and secondary sales.

  • Distributor/Stockist Management:

Identifying, onboarding, and managing distributors and stockists to ensure efficient product distribution and availability.

  • Retailer Engagement:

Building and maintaining relationships with key retail outlets (e.g., pharmacies, stores) to drive product visibility and sales.

  • Territory Management:

Effectively managing the assigned territory, including market mapping, stock management, and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Market Analysis:

Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and promotional strategies to inform sales strategies.

  • Sales Reporting:

Preparing and presenting regular sales reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.

  • Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Promotional Activities:

Participating in BTL activities for creating awareness through Kisok activity and other promotional events to create awareness and drive sales.

  • Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

  • Problem Solving:

Addressing and resolving any issues that may arise in the sales process, including customer complaints and product availability concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales and Negotiation Skills:

Proven ability to achieve sales targets, negotiate deals, and build rapport with customers.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies.

  • Organizational and Time Management Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Product Knowledge/ Market Knowledge

Understanding of OTC products and their market dynamics in the local market including competitors & distribution channels.

  • Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team and collaborate with other departments.
