Job Description
Job Summary
Traum Ferienwohnungen is looking for an experienced German Language Trainer with minimum C1 proficiency to train and enhance the communication skills of teams handling German-speaking guests, property owners, and hospitality operations. The role requires strong expertise in German language training, business communication, and customer interaction within travel, hospitality, or international support environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct German language training sessions for employees and new hires.
- Train teams on grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare employees for professional communication with German-speaking guests and partners.
- Deliver structured training modules from A1 to C1 levels.
- Conduct mock calls, role plays, language assessments, and evaluations.
- Improve communication quality, fluency, and confidence levels of trainees.
- Support operations and customer service teams with language quality improvements.
- Create training materials, SOPs, presentations, and learning content.
- Conduct refresher sessions and continuous learning programs.
- Share trainee progress reports and performance feedback with management.
- Assist recruitment teams in evaluating German language proficiency during hiring.
Required Skills
- Minimum C1 level proficiency in German language is mandatory.
- Goethe, TELC, TestDaF, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Experience in German language training or coaching.
- Strong understanding of German culture and professional communication standards.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, customer support, BPO, or international operations preferred.
- Strong presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom and virtual training sessions.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience training customer support or hospitality operations teams.
- Exposure to German market or travel/vacation rental industry preferred.
- Ability to conduct speaking assessments and language interviews.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Education
- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- German language certification preferred.
