Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Experienced in Plant engineering activities
- Installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of utilities (Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, HVAC, and utility systems)
- Drive energy efficient projects to reduce specific energy consumption.
- Experience in ISO Clause7&8 category Cleanroom
- Manage capital projects, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
- Plan and execute infrastructure and utility-related projects
- Handle cleanroom setup and production line installations
- Project experience for new Plant/Building Coordinate with design consultant/architect, prepare BOM/drawings/specs, vendor selection, project implementation.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate with stakeholders and internal teams, to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Handle government and other regulatory agencies for required approvals, certifications, etc.
- Ensure ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 and statutory compliance.
- Ensure implementation of and compliance to systems in their respective areas
- Experience and knowledge on Carbon reduction projects.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E/ B. Tech in Mech / EEE with 10+ years or Diploma with 15+ years of project and maintenance engineering
Must have functional competencies
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including AutoCAD for layout and design.
- Project Planning, Scheduling, Risk Management, Budget Management, Software proficiency (MS Project, Gantt Charts).
- Teamwork, cross-functional communication, ability to work with diverse teams.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and applying these methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Planning, executing, and overseeing projects from start to finish.
- Identifying inefficiencies and implementing strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Analyzing situations, identifying alternative solutions, and making informed decisions
- Understanding and adhering to industrial safety protocols and regulations
- Carbon footprint reduction in Scope1& Scope2. And work with cross functional team to reduce in Scope3 area.
