Job Description

Mandatory Skills & Competencies

• Strong macOS knowledge and Linux knowledge in at least one flavor such as Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of package management (deb/rpm) and repository management; macOS package formats such as pkg/dmg/mpkg.
• System administration expertise including filesystem, disk encryption, boot process, permissions, networking, and process management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to logically analyze issues and propose effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for macOS and Linux desktop systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot OS-level issues efficiently.
• Manage software installations, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Ensure system stability, security, and compliance.
• Maintain detailed documentation for issues, solutions, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
