Job DescriptionOverview:
Experience in Information Technology, specializing in Informatica Cloud, PowerCenter, IDQ, BDM, PWX CDC, CDC Kafka Publisher administrations, Unix & Shell Scripting, AWS Cloud, and Oracle SQL. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities with a proven record of analysing complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. Additionally skilled in automation and scripting (Shell Scripting & Python) using Informatica Cloud REST API calls, Asset Management Utility, and Informatica command-line utilities (infacmd, pmrep, pmcmd).
Primary Skillset:
- Informatica Cloud
- PowerCenter
- PowerExchange for Oracle CDC
- PowerExchange for SQL Server CDC
- AWS cloud.
Secondary Skillset:
- Unix & Shell Scripts
- Oracle SQL
- Talend Administration.
- Snowflake and SQL Server.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Informatica and Talend infrastructures, both On-Prem and Cloud, managing day-to-day service monitoring and incident management.
- Responsible for installing, upgrading, and applying hotfixes and EBFs for Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter products as per requirements.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks using shell scripts, Jenkins, and Informatica command-line utilities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee code deployments and manage environments, ensuring smooth transitions across development, testing, and production stages.
- Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and support planned maintenance to minimize application impact.
- Set up and manage AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda) and integrate StreamSets Data Collectors with Cloud Control Hub for optimized data operations.
- Register new tables, configure CDC processes, and manage publisher processing in Informatica Power Exchange to address evolving requirements.
- Conduct health checks and performance monitoring to ensure high availability and prevent downtime.
- Coordinate with support teams for both planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring readiness for application usage and batch processing.
- Administer and support various data management tools and technologies, including Snowflake, Oracle, and StreamSets, to ensure robust and efficient data operations
