Role Overview

We are looking for a Server Hardware Support Engineer with experience in server monitoring, hardware troubleshooting, and part replacement. The candidate should have hands-on experience with HPE server configurations and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform proactive monitoring of servers using monitoring tools
• Monitor CPU and memory utilization
• Handle server hardware troubleshooting and part replacement
• Respond to incidents and drive resolution within SLA
• Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for issue resolution
• Work with internal support teams to resolve incidents
• Coordinate with third-party vendors during hardware failures
• Configure RAID and iLO on HPE servers
• Manage and track problem tickets through problem management process
• Implement vendor-recommended best practice configurations
• Perform server hardening as per organizational policies
• Maintain server inventory management records

Required Technical Skills

• Expertise in server hardware part replacement
• Hands-on experience with RAID and iLO configuration on HPE servers
• Basic server hardware troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of server monitoring and incident management
• Understanding of server hardening practices
• Server inventory management knowledge is good to have

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Telecommunication
• B.Sc. IT / BCA / MCA (Full-time course only)
• No education gap
• Civil and Mechanical backgrounds are not preferred

Preferred Certifications

• Relevant Hardware / Server Administration Certifications preferred
