Job Title: Automation Lead Selenium, Playwright & AWS
Location: Gurgaon and Hyderabad
Experience: 7+ years

Role Summary
As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading automation efforts across projects, designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, and integrating automated tests with AWS cloud environments. You will collaborate with QA, development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high quality deliverables, drive automation strategy, and mentor a team of engineers
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers to deliver scalable and reliable automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java that support functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
- Utilize AWS services to support test execution, maintain test environments, and optimize automation infrastructure.
- Define and promote test automation best practices, framework architecture, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product owners to ensure high quality and timely releases.
- Drive continuous improvement through adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Provide clear communication of automation progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation, with significant hands-on experience in Selenium and Java.
- Strong expertise in building automation frameworks and writing scalable, maintainable automation code.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud-based test execution.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and manage automation deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cucumber or other BDD frameworks.
- Familiarity with API automation (e.g., REST Assured) and performance testing tools.
- Exposure to containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and advanced AWS services.

- Lead automation strategy and execution for multiple projects.
- Design frameworks that improve automation efficiency and test coverage.
- Work with stakeholders to plan releases, resolve issues, and ensure quality goals are met.
