Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Extracting relevant information from patient records
Examining documents for missing information
Assigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD to9/ICD10CM, APC, DRG and ASA codes
Ensuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors
Performing chart audits
Informing supervisor of issues with equipment and computer program
Ensuring compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines
Ensuring that codes tally with doctors diagnosis
Be updated about new coding rules as codes change from time to time
Collecting and distributing coding related information and billing issues

Preferred candidate profile

1. Speciality- Any of the below Surgery speciality

Cardiac Cath- Immediate joiners only

GI Surgery- Notice period accepted

General Surgery- Notice period accepted

ENT Surgery- Notice period accepted

Ortho Surgery- Notice period accepted

2. Years of Exp- 2-6 yrs

3. Location- Bengaluru

4. Certification- Any one certification mandatory (CPC, CRC, CCS, COC, CIC)

5. Salary- 4-9 LPA
