Job Description
Experienced in Water system & Water treatment plant for Large Power plant & Metal projects:
Responsible for complete Proposal & Detail engineering with hands on experience in Process design, hydraulic design, equipment sizing, interdisciplinary coordination, and team co-ordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute process calculations and equipment sizing for water treatment, desalination, and effluent treatment plants, including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems.
- Prepare water balance diagrams, hydraulic flow diagrams, and detailed hydraulic calculations for treatment and pumping systems.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, GA drawings, composite plant layouts, line lists, and valve schedules.
- Design intake systems, intake wells, pump houses, and largecapacity cooling water system in accordance with HIS guidelines.
- Shall be capable to work pre bid engineering activities and estimate require BOQs for bidding team support
- Support plot plan development, conduct InterDiscipline Checks (IDC), and manage engineering document control and deliverables.
- Coordinate effectively with Civil, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of package engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
- Play an active role during detail engineering, including client review workshops, issuance of Released for Construction (RFC) drawings, site coordination, and resolution of technical/site issues.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
- 8-15 years of experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, and pumping system projects.
