Job Description

Hiring for Claims Assistant


Experience: 6 Months 5 Years


CTC: 3.5 LPA 6.5 LPA


Work Mode: Hybrid (4 Days Work From Office)


Shift Timing: 12:30 PM 9:30 PM


Contract Duration: 3 Months
Cab Facility: Both-side cab available (as per company policy)


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Assistant to support the Claims Management team in handling claim-related processes, data management, and administrative activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Claims Managers in day-to-day claim-related activities including intake process, data cleanup, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accurate claim setup by reviewing new claims handled by third-party administrators (TPA).
  • Monitor TPA performance and coordination with vendors, doctors, employees, and field teams through reports.
  • Generate and analyze reports from TPA systems as required.
  • Perform data cleanup of historical claims including loss type, injury details, and classifications.
  • Retrieve and manage claim-related data from internal systems.
  • Follow up with internal teams/stations via email for pending claim information or documentation.
  • Support Claims Managers with additional administrative and operational tasks.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate (Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior knowledge of insurance claims, TPAs, injury/loss types is an advantage but not required.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Tech-savvy with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently with high ownership

Good to Have Skills

  • Understanding of insurance claims processes
  • Familiarity with third-party administrators (TPA)
  • Knowledge of injury/loss classification and body part mapping
