Job Description
Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Location: Mumbai / Remote
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with 6+ years of expertise in troubleshooting cloud-based applications hosted on AWS and developed using Node.js, React, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate must be an excellent problem solver with strong API troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced support for cloud applications hosted on AWS.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for applications built with Python, Django, Node.js, React, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.[AP1]
- Troubleshoot API-related problems and monitor system performance.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to address application issues.
- Maintain support documentation, including troubleshooting guides.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident management best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical application support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of application support and troubleshooting experience.[AP2]
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
- Proficiency in debugging applications using Python, Django, Node.js, React, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and API troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Database expertise.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills[AP3] .
Preferred Qualifications:[AP4]
- AWS certifications (Developer or Solutions Architect preferred).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Open Source Application hosting and support could be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud application security best practices.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Sentry , Datadog, New Relic, etc[AP5] .).
