GCP DevOps Engineer @ Globallogic

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
for enterprise platform provisioning.
Drive GitOps practices using GitHub and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Build and manage Jenkins-based deployment pipelines for infrastructure and application
delivery.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Create and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes-based applications and platform services.
Support enterprise API platforms, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
Implement cloud security best practices, IAM controls, Workload Identity Federation/Binding,
and secrets management.
Ensure compliance, vulnerability management, platform governance, and operational standards.
Monitor platform health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and business teams to deliver secure and
resilient cloud solutions.

Required Skills
6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expert-level Terraform experience, including module development, remote state management,
and infrastructure automation.
Strong experience with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, Kubernetes networking,
and Helm.
Experience with GitOps-based deployment models and pull request-driven workflows.
Strong understanding of GCP networking, Load Balancers, VPCs, DNS, IAM, and security services.
Experience implementing Workload Identity and secure authentication mechanisms.
Experience with vulnerability scanning and DevSecOps practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and
application deployments.

Preferred Skills
Experience supporting large-scale API Gateway platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or NGINX.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, or similar database platforms.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP
Operations Suite.
Knowledge of Python scripting and automation.
Experience with Trivy, OWASP ZAP, Nexus, Artifact Registry, or container security tooling.
Exposure to Vertex AI, Generative AI, RAG-based solutions, or AI-driven platform automation.
Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated enterprise environments.
