3D Modelling Engineer (Exterior & Interior Plastic) | BIW | Design Release Engineer (Seatbelt/Airbag) Pune | Automotive | UG-NX | CATIA
We are Hiring for our reputed clients at pune-
Location: Pune (Client Locations)
Experience: 3-8 Years
Open Positions: Multiple
Notice Period: 0-30 Days
Hiring Timeline: Immediate (Closure within 2 Weeks)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 3D modelling & 2D drafting using UG-NX (Solid & Surface)
- Design & development of automotive exterior & interior plastic components and safety systems (Seatbelt/Airbag)
- Layout planning, factory CAD, equipment & facility planning
- Packaging feasibility & manufacturing feasibility (Injection Molding)
- Develop master sections, technical surfaces & digital layouts
- Lead validation & compliance (DVP&R, DFMEA, ECE / FMVSS standards)
- Coordinate with suppliers & cross-functional teams for project execution
- Support installation, facility setup & manufacturing concepts
- Ensure delivery within timeline, cost & quality targets
Skills & Expertise:
UG-NX, Surface Modelling, Solid Modelling, Automotive Design, Injection Molding,
Automotive Plastic Design (Exterior & Interior Trims) Passenger & Commercial Vehicles,
AutoCAD, DELMIA V5, Navisworks, BIW,UG-NX
Equipment Planning,
DVP&R, DFMEA, Validation & Compliance, ECE, FMVSS,
JIRA, MS Office, Digital Manufacturing, Point Cloud Data
BIW DESIGN ENGINEER-CONTRACT BASIS
- Domain: BIW
- Software: NX /CATIA
- Experience: 3 to 7 years with good communication
- Positions : 8
- Project Duration: 6 8 Months
- Joining Timeline: Immediate
Candidate Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- 3--8 years of experience in Automotive / Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in Exterior/Interior Trim, Safety Systems or Facility/Layout Planning
- Strong CAD & digital engineering knowledge
- Good communication & stakeholder management skills
- German language (A2/B1) is an added advantage
- Immediate joiners preferred
