Job Description

Role Overview:
Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a dynamic professional for our Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Formulation team. The role involves managing patent-related activities, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards, and supporting formulation development through strong IP strategy and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patent searches, analysis, and freedom-to-operate studies for formulation projects.
Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
Provide IP support to R&D teams during product development, ensuring innovation protection.
Monitor competitor patents, identify potential risks, and recommend strategies to safeguard Alembics interests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IP activities with business objectives.
Required Skills:
2 to 3.5 years of experience in IPR with a focus on formulation.
Masters degree in Pharmacy, must.
Strong knowledge of patent laws, regulatory requirements, and IP management systems.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with R&D, legal, and business teams.
