Position : Senior Salesforce QA Engineer
Job description :
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning
- Define end-to-end test strategy for Salesforce programs (functional, regression, integration, UAT support)
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to business requirements
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and defects
- Manual Testing
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
- Validate complex business processes, workflows, and integrations
- Execute UAT support and coordinate with business stakeholders
- Automation Testing
- Design and develop automation frameworks for Salesforce applications
- Build and maintain automated test scripts (UI and API level)
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Salesforce-Specific Validation
- Test Flows, Apex logic, validation rules, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Validate data integrity, sharing rules, profiles, and role hierarchy
- Ensure coverage for governor limits and bulk processing scenarios
- Integration Testing
- Validate integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware like MuleSoft)
- Perform end-to-end testing across systems (ERP, data platforms, etc.)
- Defect Management & Reporting
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira
- Perform root cause analysis and work with developers for resolution
- Provide clear test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics
- Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, architects, and business analysts
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives)
Required Qualifications
- 58+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in Salesforce testing
- Strong expertise in:
- Salesforce functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
- Manual testing methodologies and defect lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with:
- Test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Good understanding of:
- Salesforce data model and security model
- Integration testing concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Provar (preferred for Salesforce automation)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience Cloud testing
- Salesforce Certifications:
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder (good to have)
- Exposure to:
- Performance testing tools
- Data migration and ETL validation
- AI-driven testing or test optimization
