Job Description
Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Gurugram (WFO)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in RAP, CAP, SAP BTP, and SAP Fiori/UI5. The candidate should possess deep technical expertise across modern SAP development frameworks and be capable of building scalable, cloud-ready, and performanceoptimized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement highquality ABAP solutions across SAP modules.
- Develop applications using SAP ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and Core Data Services (CDS).
- Work on SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) for building cloud-native applications.
- Develop and extend applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including OData service creation and extensions.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance improvements and modern code standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ABAP, Fiori, and BTP environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ABAP OO
- CDS Views
- AMDP, BOPF
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Workflows, Security)
- SAP Fiori/UI5 development
- OData services (V2/V4)
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and latest development standards.
- Experience with transport management, version control (Git), and DevOps tools (optional but preferred).
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
