eClerx is hiring for Email Developer (SFMC) Role
Work Mode : Hybrid Model
Shift Time : Genral/EMEA/USA Shift Time
Location - Mumbai, Pune and Chandigarh
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Email Developer with a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to design, build, and execute high-performing email marketing campaigns. With 3+ years of hands-on experience, you will be responsible for creating dynamic, responsive emails, setting up complex customer journeys, and ensuring flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Email Development & Marketing
- Design and develop responsive, cross-client compatible email templates using HTML, CSS, and AmpScript.
- Utilize Content Builder / Email Builder to create dynamic, personalized content blocks.
- Conduct thorough QA testing using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid to ensure rendering consistency across various email clients and devices.
- Manage subscriber lists, data extensions, and segmentation within SFMC.
Journey Building & Automation
- Configure, test, and launch complex end-to-end customer lifecycles using Journey Builder.
- Set up automated workflows, trigger-based emails, and transactional campaigns using Automation Studio.
- Implement A/B testing variables (subject lines, content, send times) to optimize campaign performance.
Collaboration & Operations
- Collaborate with marketing strategists, designers, and copywriters to turn campaign briefs into functional emails.
- Monitor campaign deliverability, bounce rates, and open/click rates to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure all email campaigns adhere to global compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
Role Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in Email Marketing and Development.
- Platform Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), specifically Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.
- Coding Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and AmpScript (highly critical for personalization). Knowledge of SQL for data segmentation is a strong plus.
- Testing Tools: Familiarity with Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar email rendering preview tools.
Logistics & Soft Skills
- Location: Ability to work in a Hybrid model from one of our tech hubs: Navi Mumbai, Pune, or Chandigarh.
- Shift Timing: Must be comfortable working the EMEA shift (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with international team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills to fix rendering issues across stubborn email clients (like Outlook).
