Shift: Rotational (6 AM to 3 PM & 3 PM to 12 AM)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Millwork Designer with strong experience in joinery detailing, shop drawings, and interior technical documentation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fabrication-ready millwork shop drawings up to LOD 300 and 400, coordinating with Architecture, Structural, and MEP teams, and ensuring accurate, buildable documentation for interior, retail, hospitality, and commercial projects. This is a production-focused role, and the candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior BIM Architect while supporting project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare millwork shop drawings up to LOD 300 and 400 for cabinetry, wardrobes, counters, wall panels, ceilings, and custom furniture
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings
- Prepare hardware and fixing details including hinges, drawer systems, handles, and installation methods
- Coordinate millwork layouts with architectural drawings, RCP, and MEP services
- Ensure proper anchorage, blocking, and structural support coordination
- Review fabrication/shop drawings and incorporate design revisions
- Support material take-offs and BOQ preparation
- Ensure documentation aligns with IFC / construction drawings and project specifications
Requirements: - AutoCAD (Advanced shop drawing preparation)
- Cabinet Vision (or similar millwork design tools)
- Strong knowledge of millwork detailing and joinery construction
- Understanding of interior construction and fabrication processes
Good to Have - SketchUp
- Revit (Basic to Intermediate and BIM coordination)
- Excel (BOQ preparation)
Added Advantage - Experience in residential, retail, and hospitality interior projects
- Knowledge of hardware systems (hinges, slides, connectors, fittings)
- Exposure to international millwork documentation standards
- International Exposure (Preferred)
Experience working on projects aligned with any: - US / Canada interior documentation standards
- UK / EU interior detailing practices
- Australia / APAC documentation practices
Qualifications - Diploma / Bachelor's in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil Engineering
- Relevant project portfolio or shop drawing samples required
