Job Description
Job Title: Lead Radar Systems Design
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead a design team working at system level in the domain of Radar systems
- Guide the team in detailed design and engineering of the system, integration, testing, and validation
- Drive system conceptualization, architecture development, and system-level simulations
- Review detailed design & engineering drawings such as:
- Electrical schemes
- General assembly
- Connection diagrams
- Test instructions
- Selection of electronic components and interconnects
- Finalize system interfaces by leading interactions with cross-functional teams including hardware design, mechanical design, RF subsystems, control system design, and software development
- Support overall system integration, testing, and validation
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Radar / RF tracking systems
- Knowledge of electrical components like motors, encoders, servo amplifiers, etc.
- Clear understanding of Servo systems
- Familiarity with MIL Standards for safety, environmental, EMI-EMC compliance
- Awareness of system design and engineering processes and practices
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Orcad / E3 / Eplan
- PSPICE
- MATLAB
- AutoCAD Electrical / ACTCAD
- Experience in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tools
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Professionals available for immediate joining
- Candidates with prior Defence experience will be most welcome and given preference
