HCL Geomtech (officially part of HCLSoftware Product) refers to the capabilities and services that originated from the acquisition of Geometric Limited. It is a specialized line of business within HCLs Engineering and R&D Services (ERS).

- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM): Provides end-to-end PLM consulting, system integration, and deployment for mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
- Industry 4.0 Products: Develops innovative software tools for computer-aided design (CAD). Notable products include GeomCaliper (an automated tool for checking and measuring wall thickness in 3D CAD models) and DFMPro (for manufacturability analysis).

Primary Skills:
a) C++
b) CAD Developer
c) Good in aptitude and analytical Geometry.
Secondary Skills:
a) MFC
b) Geometric algorithm
c) C#.Net
d) WPF
Tool Knowledge:
a) CAD tools (NX, Creo or Solid-Works)
b) MS Visual studio 2012/2015
c) JIRA
d) SVN
e) any memory management tools (Rational etc.)
f) SQL Database
g) UML
Desired Competencies:
a) Strong experience in C++ development
b) Should have worked on any CAD/Geometric kernel APIs (NX, Creo, Solid-Works APIs)
c) Should have worked on Windows platform
d) Should have ability to solve geometric problem
e) Should have good knowledge of SDLC and related processes
f) Exp. with product development would be preferred
g) Having hands-on in MFC is an added advantage
