We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer Railway Automation (Test Automation)
Youll make a difference by:
- 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Electronic and Tele-Communication.
- Domain Experience: Railway Domain.
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation for non-GUI applications using scripting language.
- Proven experience in functional testing (both manual and automation) for non-GUI application including:
- Requirements understanding
- Identifying Test scenarios and Creating test strategy.
- Test planning, and execution
- Implementation of test automation framework
- Defect management
- Reporting on testing outcome.
- Manage test activities and test resources across multiple testing activities.
- Experience working on different testing methodologies.
- Ability to assess risks to schedule, and quality on project testing.
- Understanding of the code versioning systems and static code analysis tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills
- Role and Responsibilities
- Shall develop a system understanding of the Product
- Understand the features requirements and its applicability in intended environment setup.
- Review the software against the requirements to ensure all the requirements are fulfilled.
- Shall be responsible to create and execute the test strategy.
- Review the correctness, consistency and adequacy of test cases and all verification activities to be followed as per processes.
- Execute and review the test scripts developed on homegrown automation test environment.
- Evaluate the compliance of the software testing against defined standard for Safety Critical applications.
- Suggest improvements in processes, approaches, and product testing.
- Take ownership of testing with quality.
- Drive continuous efforts in improving teams knowledge.
