Job Description
Collaborate with cross-functional teams andarchitects to design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Java
Build scalable, reliable, clean code and unittests for Java applications.
Help maintain code quality, organization, andautomatization by performing code reviews, refactoring and unit testing
Develop integration with third-party APIs, andexternal applications to deliver robust and scalable applications.
Maintain services, enhance, optimize and upgradeexisting systems.
Contribute to architectural and designdiscussions and document design decisions.
Effectively participate and contribute toplanning meetings, retrospectives, daily stand ups, and other meetings part ofthe software development process.
Contribute to the continuous improvement ofdevelopment processes and practices.
Resolve production issues, participate inproduction incident analysis by conducting effective troubleshooting and Rwithin SLA.
Work with Operations teams on product deploymentand issues resolution and support.
Mentor junior developers and assist in theirprofessional growth.
Stay updated with the latest technologies andbest practices.
What will you bring in
7+ years of experience with proficiency in Javalanguage
Bachelors or masters degree fromIIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS
Experience working with IT Product organizations
Good working experience in Java8(or laterversion), Springboot, Microservices
Good understanding of OOPs and design patterns -SOLID, Integration, REST, Micro-services and cloud-native designs.
Understanding of fundamental design principlesbehind building and scaling distributed applications.
Knack for writing clean, readable, reusable andtestable Java code.
Strong knowledge of data structures andcollections in Java
Experience in designing relational DB schema,PL/SQL queries performance tuning.
Experience in working in Agile environmentfollowing scrum/SAFE methodologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, containers andautomation frameworks.
Experience in developing and deploying on atleast one cloud environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication andcollaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively ina fast-paced environment.
