About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IT & Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen our organization's security posture. You will be responsible for end-to-end security operations spanning endpoint protection, cloud infrastructure, and regulatory compliance. This role bridges IT security and infrastructure security, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Security
- Email Security: Design, configure, and manage email security gateways including anti-spam, anti-phishing, DKIM/DMARC/SPF policies, and email encryption to safeguard organizational communications.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Administer MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf, or equivalent) to enforce device compliance policies, manage corporate and BYOD devices, and ensure secure access to organizational resources.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Implement and maintain DLP policies across endpoints, email, and cloud platforms to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration and monitor sensitive data flows.
- Antivirus & Endpoint Protection: Deploy and manage enterprise antivirus and EDR solutions, conduct regular threat scans, respond to endpoint alerts, and ensure all systems maintain up-to-date protection.
- Infrastructure Security
- Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT): Plan and coordinate internal and third-party VAPT engagements, track and remediate identified vulnerabilities, and maintain a risk register aligned with remediation SLAs.
- AWS Security Hub: Manage and monitor AWS Security Hub findings, configure security standards (CIS, PCI-DSS, AWS Foundational), and collaborate with DevOps teams to remediate cloud misconfigurations and security gaps.
- Cloud Security Posture Management: Continuously assess cloud environments for security risks including misconfigured IAM policies, open security groups, and unencrypted data stores.
- Participate in security awareness training programs and contribute to the security culture across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT Security and/or Infrastructure Security roles.
- Proficiency with email security platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365).
- Experience with MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar).
- Hands-on knowledge of DLP tools (Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, or similar).
- Familiarity with VAPT tools and methodologies (Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, OWASP frameworks).
- Experience working with AWS Security Hub and cloud security services (GuardDuty, Inspector, Config, IAM).
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar).
- Exposure to Zero Trust architecture and implementation.
- Familiarity with SOC operations and incident response processes.
