About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and leading activities related to the development, optimization, validation, and manufacturing of In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products, with a primary focus on Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits and ELISA-based platforms.
The role requires strong technical expertise in diagnostic assay development, manufacturing workflows, quality systems, and regulatory compliance within the IVD industry.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a PhD in any of the following disciplines:
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Molecular Biology
- Life Sciences
- Biomedical Sciences
- Or related fields
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- IVD rapid card / lateral flow assay manufacturing
- ELISA kit development and manufacturing
- Diagnostic assay validation
- Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
- GMP / ISO-compliant manufacturing environments
- Prior experience in diagnostic or medical device companies
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical operations related to rapid diagnostic kits and ELISA manufacturing
- Develop, optimize, and validate diagnostic assays and protocols
- Support scale-up and batch manufacturing activities
- Monitor quality control procedures and troubleshoot technical issues
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, Regulatory, and Quality teams
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, batch records, and validation reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards
- Participate in product improvement and innovation initiatives
- Support technology transfer and process standardization
Desired Skill Set
- Strong understanding of immunodiagnostics and assay development
- Hands-on experience with lateral flow technology and ELISA systems
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and IVD regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
