Oracle ERP Tester (Automation)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Tester with strong expertise in Automation Testing to validate and ensure the quality of Oracle ERP applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle ERP modules along with expertise in automation frameworks and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Functional Testing (SIT/UAT) on Oracle ERP modules such as Finance, Procurement, Order Management, and HCM.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for regression and critical business scenarios.
- Validate end-to-end business processes across Oracle ERP workflows.
- Perform Integration Testing to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle ERP and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
- Execute API testing for Oracle integrations using tools like Postman/REST Assured.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Validate data accuracy at database level using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and functional consultants during testing cycles.
- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test strategy definition.
- Support continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines integration.
Required Skills
Oracle ERP Functional Knowledge
- Strong experience in Oracle ERP (EBS / Fusion)
- Knowledge of modules such as:
- Financials (GL, AP, AR)
- Procurement
- Order Management
- HCM (optional but preferred)
Automation Testing Skills
- Hands-on experience with automation tools:
- Selenium WebDriver
- TestNG / JUnit
- Strong knowledge of Java/Python for scripting
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber (preferred)
Testing Expertise
- Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing
- End-to-end business scenario validation
- API Testing (REST/SOAP)
- Database Testing (SQL)
Tools & Technologies
- Test Management tools: JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git
- API tools: Postman, Rest Assured
- Version control systems
