Job Summary:

An Azure DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations. They automate software delivery, manage cloud infrastructure, and build Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to ensure fast and reliable application deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for seamless code integration and delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage Azure cloud resources using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Cloud Platform Management: Administer Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure SQL, and Functions.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement performance monitoring, logging, and Azure cost optimization strategies following the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Containerization: Deploy and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaboration & Support: Work alongside software developers and QA teams to troubleshoot environment issues and support agile development lifecycles.

Essential Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud environments, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
• Core Skills: Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD, containerization, and scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
