Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AKS based deployment strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), applying an AI first mindset to reduce complexity and improve consistency .
- Actively use Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to accelerate pipeline development, infrastructure authoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Automate deployment of Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Container Apps , leveraging AI to streamline configurations and reduce manual effort.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows for Java and .NET applications with AI assisted optimization and validation .
- Manage build, release, and promotion processes with strong release governance, rollback, and recovery strategies , augmented by AI driven diagnostics.
- Implement and operate GitOps workflows using Flux or ArgoCD for AKS deployments, ensuring declarative, auditable, and repeatable delivery.
- Apply DevSecOps and AppSecOps principles , using AI to improve security signal detection, policy validation, and feedback loops across the SDLC.
- Configure and operate observability solutions (metrics, logs, tracing, alerts) for AKS and Azure services, leveraging AI to surface actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot AKS clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and platform issues efficiently using AI assisted root cause analysis and pattern recognition .
- Collaborate closely with development teams to simplify deployment workflows , improve developer experience, and increase delivery velocity.
- Support ITSM processes and ensure compliance with SOC audit requirements , using AI to help analyze controls and operational evidence.
- Produce clear, concise, and consumable documentation , demonstrating how AI was used to simplify designs and operational procedures.
- Train and enable team members on modern DevOps practices, AKS operations, and effective use of Copilot and AI tools in daily work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps with a strong foundation in software development.
- Strong hands on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration at scale.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) as part of everyday DevOps and platform engineering work.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including AI assisted authoring and review.
- Proven experience deploying Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Container Apps .
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines , GitHub Actions, and GitHub Workflows.
- Experience building and deploying Java and .NET applications.
- Strong understanding of release management , failure handling, and rollback strategies.
- Hands on experience with GitOps tools such as Flux and ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles , secure deployment patterns, and compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring for cloud native platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems and optimize performance using AI assisted insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex operational issues simply .
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and resilient AKS based platforms .
- Bias toward automation, continuous improvement, and AI augmented productivity
