Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer with 4+ years of experience in automation testing and modern QA practices. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building and maintaining automated test frameworks, leveraging AI-powered testing tools, and ensuring high product quality in a fast-paced Agile environment.
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Stakeholders. Manual testing knowledge is expected, but the primary focus will be on automation and AI-assisted quality engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
- Create and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Leverage AI-powered testing tools and techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Work closely with developers to implement quality practices throughout the SDLC.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Create detailed test strategies, test plans, and reusable test scenarios.
- Experience testing ERP software is required.
- Review functional and technical requirements to identify test coverage and risk areas.
- Identify, prioritize, document, and track defects with appropriate severity and priority.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Analyze test execution results and provide quality metrics and reports.
- Ensure test suites remain maintainable and updated with product changes.
- Collaborate with development teams to shift quality practices left in the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation frameworks, AI-driven testing, and quality engineering.
- Drive the QA process independently for medium to large-scale projects.Role & responsibilities
