Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Senior Analyst with a strong background in System Analysis and Business Analysis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that software development projects align with organizational goals. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze requirements, design solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for software development. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data models. Work closely with software developers to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and adhere to best practices. Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and deliverables. Participate in testing and validation of software solutions to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards. Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in Business Analysis methodologies and practices. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in creating detailed functional specifications and system documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with project management tools and techniques. Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles. Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or System Analysis are a plus.
