Java Technical/Solution Architect @ Datamatics

Job Description

• High level and low level architectural design.
• Build best in class application software and services for our SaaS technology Platform.
  
• Design, code, unit test and debug application features as specified .
  
• Partner with Software Leads and Product Owner to deliver and gain QA acceptance .
  
• Leverage Agile principles and practices to deliver the highest possible quality, performance and feature velocity .
  
• Work with the Agile software team to scope work and produce estimates.
  
• Leverage technology knowledge to implement product solutions.

Essential Skill Set:

• 9 Plus years Java full stack development experience building testable software
  
• 2 Plus years experience with web based technologies, such as CSS3, HTML5 and AJAX.
  
• Strong Java and JavaScript experience, jQuery, Ember JS, Sencha Ext JS, or AngularJS a plus.
  
• Experience with Nodejs, Springboot, Groovy/Grails is a plus.
  
• Experience consuming RESTful web services with JSON.
  
• Relational databases (e.g. MySQL) and noSQL databases (e.g. Mongo, Redis) .
  
• Understands fundamentals of agile methodologies - iterative development, SCRUM, XP, continuous integration.
  

Experience using tools such as Jira, Git, GitHub, Jenkins/CruiseControl.
