Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Network Engineers with strong expertise in solution design and project delivery within enterprise network environments. This role is focused on delivering strategic network infrastructure projects and requires candidates who can understand business requirements, create technical solutions, and drive end-to-end implementation.
This is not a traditional operations or support role. Candidates should possess strong experience in network design, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and data center technologies along with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver mid-to-large-scale network infrastructure solutions.
- Create Low-Level Designs (LLD) and implementation plans aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery including planning, implementation, migration, testing, and handover.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering teams, and external vendors.
- Participate in network change implementations, including weekend change windows.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and risk management standards.
- Provide technical leadership during project execution and troubleshooting activities.
- Support infrastructure modernization and network transformation initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Network Solution Design and Project Delivery.
- Advanced Routing & Switching knowledge:
- BGP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ACI
- Cisco Nexus
- Cisco Firepower / ASA
- Strong expertise in:
- F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM)
- Load Balancing Technologies
- Experience with Firewall technologies:
- Fortinet
- Check Point
- Juniper
- Cisco ASA / Firepower
- Working knowledge of Proxy technologies.
- Experience with VMware and/or AWS networking.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Shell Scripting).
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise or Security)
- F5 CTS-LTM / CTS-GTM
- Fortinet Certifications
- ITIL Foundation
- Change Management experience
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in network transformation, migration, and implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, and implementation runbooks.
- Ability to work in global and virtual team environments.
Note:
Candidates with predominantly NOC, Monitoring, Incident Management, or BAU Operations backgrounds will not be considered. We are specifically seeking engineers with strong solutioning, design, and project delivery experience.
