Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager Commercial Vehicle Insurance to drive business growth in the commercial vehicle segment. The role involves acquiring new customers, managing channel partners and fleet clients, achieving sales targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Commercial Vehicle Insurance products, including:
    • Goods Carrying Vehicles
    • Passenger Carrying Vehicles
    • Fleet Insurance
    • Motor Package Policies
    • Third-Party and Comprehensive Insurance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with:
    • Fleet owners
    • Transporters and logistics companies
    • Automobile dealers
    • DSAs and channel partners
    • Corporate clients
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Manage renewals and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and claim servicing.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate channel partners and sales teams to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain MIS reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate or undergraduate.

Experience

  • 410 years of experience in General Insurance sales.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Insurance, Fleet Insurance, or Motor Insurance.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Insurance products.
  • Experience in handling fleet and transporter accounts.
  • Relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Team handling and leadership capabilities.
  • Good understanding of insurance operations and underwriting processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
