Role & responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Network Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational stability, resilience, security, and compliance of global network services within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
This role requires strong expertise in enterprise networking, Infoblox, incident and problem management, operational governance, network automation, and service reliability. The candidate will act as a senior technical escalation point, drive service improvements, lead root cause investigations, and collaborate closely with Architecture, Security, Product, and Service Management teams to deliver highly available and scalable network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the operational stability, resilience, performance, and compliance of enterprise network services.
- Configure, deploy, and support network infrastructure including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Infoblox platforms.
- Act as the senior technical authority and escalation point for critical network incidents and major service disruptions.
- Lead troubleshooting activities and coordinate resolution of complex network issues across multiple technology domains.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Drive measurable reduction in repeat incidents through proactive service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all network changes are executed following established governance, risk, compliance, and change management processes.
- Embed reliability engineering and design-for-run principles into network services throughout the service lifecycle.
- Lead automation and standardization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service resilience, and recovery times.
- Partner with Architecture, Security, Product, and Service Management teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable network solutions.
- Support capacity planning, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Maintain operational documentation, technical standards, and network recovery procedures.
- Participate in major incident management, disaster recovery exercises, and business continuity activities.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering or Network Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Routing & Switching technologies.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and enterprise network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.
- Experience with network monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of network security principles and enterprise security controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
