Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data and digital solutions supporting industrial operations and business transformation initiatives.

The role will focus on architecting scalable data platforms, defining enterprise data strategies, enabling AI/ML use cases, and designing integrated digital solutions leveraging Cognite Data Fusion (CDF), Microsoft Azure, AWS, Industrial IoT platforms, and modern cloud-native technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, data scientists, and enterprise architects to transform complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and value-generating digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Platform Strategy

• Define and govern enterprise-wide data architecture for industrial and digital transformation programs.
• Architect data ingestion, integration, storage, processing, and consumption layers.
• Design scalable data platforms supporting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

• Establish standards for:
• Data Governance
• Metadata Management
• Data Lineage
• Data Quality
• Master Data Management
• Data Security & Compliance
• Design real-time and batch data processing architectures.
• Create scalable data foundations supporting advanced analytics, AI, ML, and Digital Twin initiatives.
• Develop enterprise data models and canonical information architectures.
• Enable seamless interoperability between enterprise applications, operational systems, and external partners.
