Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Governance with 9+ years of expertise to lead and drive governance initiatives across the organization. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including development teams working on Gen AI and ML technologies, to ensure effective planning, execution, and monitoring of governance-related projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a structured approach to governance frameworks, and the ability to align governance practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Governance Project Planning
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear objectives and deliverables
Execution & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end governance project execution
- Ensure adherence to defined timelines and project plans
- Coordinate across cross-functional and development teams
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations
- Ensure transparent communication across teams
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Work closely with compliance teams to maintain governance standards
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Define and track KPIs for governance initiatives
- Prepare regular status reports highlighting progress and improvements
Change Management
- Drive adoption of governance frameworks
- Implement structured change management strategies
- Support teams through transitions
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve governance processes
- Implement feedback loops and optimize frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 9+ years of experience in project management
- Proven experience in governance projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Governance frameworks
- Risk management
- Compliance standards
- Experience managing Gen AI / ML-based projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
