Role: Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Chennai

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist / ML Engineer to build and deploy predictive analytics solutions for business-critical use cases such as asset maintenance, workforce optimization, and demand forecasting. The role involves working on the Databricks platform on AWS to develop scalable ML models integrated with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end predictive models for forecasting, asset failure prediction, and resource optimization
- Work on Databricks ecosystem (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, MLflow) for data processing and modeling
- Apply ML techniques like time-series forecasting (Prophet, XGBoost, LSTM), statistical and optimization models
- Build scenario-based simulation models for business decision-making
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, GenAI teams, and UI developers to deliver integrated solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Data Science / Machine Learning with production deployment
- Expertise in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS cloud ecosystem
- Experience in time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in Energy & Utilities / Supply Chain domain
- Exposure to SAP, GIS, FSM, SCADA systems
- Knowledge of AWS services and GenAI tools (e.g., Bedrock)
Key Requirement:
Hands-on experience with Machine Learning on Databricks platform and AWS ecosystem is mandatory
