Job Description
Role Overview :
The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for driving research and exploratory development
in emerging AI technologies, with an emphasis on novel AI system design patterns and
agentic/multi-agent systems.
The role reports to the Lead Innovation Research and requires qualifications such as
BE/B-Tech or ME/M-Tech in relevant fields with 8 to 12 years of experience and advanced
technical certifications .
Key Responsibilities & Tasks The job responsibilities are weighted and categorized as
follows:
Architecture & Design (20%) Define and develop conceptual and reference architectures
for AI-driven software systems focusing on modularity, extensibility, and scalability.
- Evaluate technology stacks and architectural patterns through experimentation,
emphasizing performance and research viability . Solution Development (30%)
- Design and implement advanced AI prototypes and experimental software solutions.
- Research and build agentic and multi-agent systems using open-source frameworks like
LangGraph and CrewAI.
- Validate system designs through proofs of concept and simulations.
- Experiment with containerization and cloud deployment strategies such as Docker .
Innovation Leadership (20%)
- Stay updated on technology trends including AI, Cloud, IoT, and AR/VR. Drive adoption
of emerging technologies into product development cycles . Collaboration & Mentorship
(15%)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain architectural integrity.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence . Governance & Compliance
(15%)
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Participate in technical reviews and risk assessments . Required Skills and
Competencies Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in AI and software architecture, multi-agent system design, and
advanced solution development. Experience with scalable applications on platforms
such as Azure and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of application security, defensive coding, database design,
infrastructure performance, and monitoring.
- Proficient in Python programming, RAG pipeline development, software code
management and deployment.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native deployment patterns. Functional
Competencies Advanced understanding of business process requirement analysis,
change request management, functional and technical architecture and design
. Skilled in knowledge management to leverage organizational data and create reusable
assets . Leadership and Interpersonal Skills Ability to guide and mentor team members.
Strong communication, assertiveness, motivation, problem-solving, organization, and
planning skills .
