Job Description
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, MCA, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institution.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, front-end development, and user-centered digital product development.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of responsive, adaptive, and mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integration of front-end applications with backend services.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of web performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end security best practices.
UI/UX Design Skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including usability, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, typography, colour theory, layout design, and human-centered design methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.1 and inclusive design principles.
- Experience in creating wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, design systems, and reusable UI component libraries.
- Hands-on experience in user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, user journey mapping, persona development, and user feedback analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based development approaches.
- Basic understanding of SEO, web analytics, and user behaviour tracking tools.
- Experience in developing interfaces for government, enterprise, or large-scale public-facing applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive and accessible user experiences.
