Job Description: Onboarding Executive (Swiggy Dineout)

Location: Chennai (Field-based)

Role Overview

As an Onboarding Executive for Swiggy Dineout, you will be the face of the company on the ground. Your primary mission is to expand the Dineout network by identifying, visiting, and onboarding high-potential restaurants across assigned districts in Chennai. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales cyclefrom the first cold visit to final offer negotiation and digital onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Sales & Visitation: Conduct daily field visits to different restaurants
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and meet with Restaurant Owners or General Managers to pitch Swiggy Dineouts value proposition.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Present and negotiate exclusive offers, discounts, and commission structures to ensure the best deals for Swiggy users.
  • End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the administrative process of getting a restaurant live on the platform, ensuring all documentation and menu details are accurate.
  • District Coverage: Travel across various Chennai districts using personal transport to ensure deep market penetration.
  • Reporting: Maintain a daily sales tracker (Sales Visit Report) detailing visit outcomes, manager contacts, and status of negotiations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in Field Sales, Business Development, or Vendor Onboarding (experience in Food-tech or hospitality is a major plus).
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and persuasion skills in English and Tamil.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to handle objections and negotiate commercial terms with business owners effectively.
  • Mobility: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for daily travel across Chennai.
  • Attitude: Goal-oriented with a high "bias for action" and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
