Job Description

Must-Have Skills
Strong architecture and design experience with Java-based backend systems and ReactJS frontend frameworks.

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Codex or other AI agentic development tools and workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an IC4-level engineer who demonstrates strong technical leadership while remaining hands-on. They should be able to guide and mentor a team of 4-5 junior developers, provide technical direction, review design and implementation decisions, and help improve overall engineering quality.

They should be comfortable representing the team in leadership forums, communicating technical progress, risks, and dependencies clearly. The candidate should also actively participate in organization-level security and compliance initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, platform upgrades, and related governance activities.

In addition, they should be capable of driving team-level goals around security, compliance, vulnerability management, and upgrade readiness, ensuring that the team delivers reliable, maintainable, and compliant software.
