Job Description
- Assist in preparing and processing patient bills.
- Verify patient demographic and billing information.
- Support the billing team in maintaining accurate billing records.
- Assist in entering billing data into hospital information systems.
- Help prepare invoices and billing statements.
- Coordinate with departments to collect billing-related documents.
- Assist in insurance and TPA documentation processes.
- Verify charges against services rendered to patients.
- Support claim submission activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Assist in filing and organizing billing records.
- Generate routine billing reports under supervision.
- Support reconciliation of billing transactions.
- Follow hospital billing policies and procedures.
- Assist patients and attendants with basic billing queries.
- Coordinate with cashiers and billing executives when required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned billing tasks.
- Participate in departmental training and learning activities.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Billing Supervisor or Manager.Role & responsibilities
