Amazon is looking for a smart, motivated, and analytical Credit Specialist to join our credit team. He or she will have responsibility for providing a thorough credit risk assessment for different Amazon business channels, including data driven assessment of the portfolio risk. The analyst will own end to end execution of Risk Mitigation workflow to safe guard Amazon Exposure. This will involve high judgment and frequent interaction with internal stakeholders and leaders to ensure decisions are sound, compliant and well understood. The Credit Analyst will also support the monitoring and risk management of the entire accounts receivable portfolio. The successful candidate will have a good desire in innovating processes, good attention to detail and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities
1) Evaluate credit applications analyzing data from financial statements, credit reference
agencies, application forms and other third party sources to arrive at fast, fair, and appropriate
credit decisions
2) Own Risk Mitigation Workflow execution to mitigate Amazon AR exposure but driving action items to completion by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
3) Communicate with customers requires good Customer Obsession as an Amazon
representative in credit-related communication with Amazon Business customers
4) Improve processes work with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that
affect credit management decisions, and drive improvements in the logic, tools and processes,
with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually
5) Monitor credit performance monitoring of Accounts Receivables with emphasis on financial
transactions such as invoices, credits, debit-notes and cash application
