Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to develop high-performance copies for a global leader in online trading. This role requires a sophisticated blend of Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in financial markets and Advanced SEO Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing technically precise "Evergreen" foundational guides while simultaneously managing a high-velocity output of SEO-optimized educational articles. You will act as the bridge between complex market data and actionable, rank-winning content.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Dual-Track Content Execution: Lead the creation of both high-intent SEO blog posts and deep-dive technical pillars (Forex, CFDs, Equities, and Macro-economics).
- Independent Technical Research: Conduct autonomous research into global market trends and complex trading instruments to ensure content is authoritative and forward-looking.
- SEO Strategy & Ecosystem Mapping: Direct keyword intelligence, competitor gap analysis, and "Pillar-and-Cluster" internal linking to capture and defend top SERP positions.
- Regulatory Compliance Governance: Serve as the primary editorial gatekeeper, ensuring all content adheres to global financial promotional standards and is "Fair, Clear, and Not Misleading." Previous experience working on standards like FCA, ASIC, etc. will be added advantage.
- E-E-A-T Optimization: Architect content to meet the highest standards of Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness.
- Data Visualization Collaboration: Partner with design teams to translate intricate financial datasets into intuitive charts, infographics, and interactive trading tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 57 years in financial journalism, fintech content strategy, or a specialized investment writing role.
- Market Fluency: Deep understanding of derivative products, leverage mechanics, technical analysis, and global regulatory landscapes.
- SEO Mastery: Expert proficiency with industry tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, and Google Search Console.
- Editorial Precision: Exceptional ability to simplify sophisticated financial concepts for retail audiences without sacrificing technical accuracy.
- Compliance Intuition: Proven track record of working within strict legal and compliance frameworks in the financial services sector.
