Cloud Engineer @ Ericsson

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer-SDN (Software Define Networking) to join our team at Ericsson. As an Engineer-SDN, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the telco cloud network infrastructure, including switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and SDN solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the network and provide technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong networking background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset.

What you will do:.

• Strong Networking Background (Cisco, Juniper Switches, Routers)
• Knowledge of Network Products like Load Balancers (F5, A10), Firewall (Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, A10)
• Good Working knowledge of Pluribus Networks | Ericsson SDN(ODL)
• Familiar with OpenStack/Kubernetes(Redhat, Mirantis)
• Knowledge of Tools like Zabbix, ZenOSS, Nagios Log Server
• Scripting Knowledge via Bash, Python, Ansible
• Great Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Problem solving approach
• Customer First Mindset
• Ready to working 24x7

The skills you bring:

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent.
• Relevant Experience for 4+ years.
• Strong Networking Background (Cisco, Juniper Switches, Routers)
• Knowledge of Network Products like Load Balancers (F5, A10), Firewall (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, FortiGate & A10)
