Job Description
8-10 years of experience in Asset management and Audit and compliance.
Lead and govern end-to-end IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle including procurement planning, allocation, tracking, optimization, and secure disposal of assets.
Define, implement, and enforce asset management policies, standards, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Drive audit and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and internal security policies.
Own and manage internal and external audit engagements, including audit readiness, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and timely closure of findings.
Establish strong controls to ensure software license compliance and mitigate legal and financial risks.
Provide strategic oversight on asset utilization, cost optimization, and lifecycle planning to improve ROI and reduce wastage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Procurement, Finance, Legal) to ensure alignment on asset governance and compliance objectives.
Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and MIS reports to track asset health, compliance posture, and audit status for leadership visibility.
Identify risks, gaps, and control weaknesses in asset and compliance processes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure adherence to data security and privacy requirements during asset handling, movement, and disposal.
Lead, mentor, and manage teams responsible for asset management and compliance operations, driving accountability and performance.
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
Act as a key point of contact for leadership on asset governance, compliance posture, and risk management.
