As a Web Developer at Digital Ipsum, you won't just code pages you'll build digital environments where people feel secure enough to explore, trust, and take action. In mental health, a website isn't a brochure. It is often the first point of psychological safety a person encounters before they decide whether to reach out.
This role is for someone who understands that design, performance, and clarity directly impact trust, help-seeking behavior, and ethical conversions.
Your websites will become the foundation of credibility for therapists, psychologists, clinics, and wellness platforms.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain high-trust, conversion-aligned websites for mental health professionals and wellness brands
- Build on platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and custom frameworks with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and calm user experience
- Collaborate with designers, psychologists, content teams, and marketers to create ethically sound digital experiences
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, responsiveness, and accessibility without compromising sensitivity or tone
- Ensure clean navigation, calming UX, and frictionless user journeys that guide people gently toward taking action
- Test, troubleshoot, and refine to maintain performance, privacy, and reliability
- Participate in strategy discussions to align development with trust, compliance, and growth goals
What We're Looking For
- 12 years of web development experience, preferably with service-based, healthcare, wellness, or high-trust brands
- Proficiency in WordPress / Elementor, Shopify, React, or similar stacks
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles especially clarity, accessibility, and emotional ease
- Knowledge of technical SEO, schema, and site architecture best practices
- Attention to detail because small technical gaps can break user trust
- Ability to adapt based on feedback while maintaining ethical and performance standards
- Genuine interest in building platforms that support people, not just traffic
