Responsibilities
Provide technical responses to airline operators and conduct event investigations and safety reviews. Perform technical analysis and root cause analysis to support long-term solutions and corrective actions. Participate in Event Management Boards and Safety Review Boards (e.g., Rolls-Royce) and present cases effectively. Identify and implement process improvements and tools within the domain of expertise. Conduct reliability analysis and lifecycle cost analysis using advanced tools to analyze failure trends and predict failure probability. Apply probability distribution functions such as Weibull distribution for predictive modeling. Influence design teams using lifecycle cost analysis to improve engine time-on-wing and shop visit cost models. Utilize in-service experience and predictive methods to deliver service cost reductions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Technical degree (AME / BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience. Strong knowledge of gas turbine functionality, components, and systems with full consideration of form, fit, and function. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, and cost modeling. Familiarity with probability distribution functions and predictive analytics. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence design improvements.
