Role Overview
The Principal Designer cum Sales will play a dual role of leading the design team and
driving sales conversions. This position requires a balance of creative interior design
expertise and business development skills, ensuring delivery of high-quality modular
interiors while achieving defined sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
Lead design development for modular interior furniture projects.
Prepare design concepts, layouts, BOQs, and 3D visualizations.
Ensure design feasibility in terms of modular execution and cost efficiency.
Mentor and guide junior designers to maintain design quality and consistency.
Sales & Business Development
Generate new business through client meetings, walk-ins, and lead follow-ups.
Understand client requirements and present design and commercial proposals.
Drive negotiations and closures to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales
targets.
Convert a minimum of 35 projects per month (or as per business targets set by
management).
Achieve monthly revenue targets in line with company goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships for repeat and referral business.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with production and execution teams to align design intent with
execution.
Support project managers in resolving on-site design-related queries.
Ensure client satisfaction from the design stage through project handover.
